STOP POLISHING YOUR GOLD
In several homes ornaments of gold,silver etc.are wore .After sometime that gold gets dull (they lost their shine).so we use to polish them by giving it to the shopkeeper;but that's the thing we are doing wrong.
Now let me tell you something aboutAqua regia.
it is a solution in which our gold is polished. A mixture of concentrated nitric and hydrochloric acids. It is a highly corrosive liquid able to attack gold and other substances.
PROCEDURE
Now we will talk about how gold is polished.
STEP:1
It starts by dipping gold ornaments in a solution called Aqua regia.
STEP:2
After sometime by dipping the gold in the solution it is taked out and you will observe that the gold becomes more shiny .but you will be shocked that polishing gold decreses a layer causing defect in the gold.
CONCLUSION
we found that polishing gold is bad and cause worse effect on its weight leading to make the gold cheaper.
